AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON IS FILMING.

Equally cool???  Avengers 2 so far looks awesome. Heres a pic Robert Downey Jr tweeted of the cast eating lunch in Richmond England, where they are currently filming. I loved the first Avengers I'm sure I'll love this one even more. By these set photos I can tell I will. Every ones  reprising their roles with a few new actors, we have Aaron Johnson as Quicksilver, and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett witch. Also we have James "Black List" Spader voicing the villain Ultron and have Thomas Krenchman  playing the second villain Baron Von Strocker. Do you think this could be better than the original? How do you top the BATTLE OF NEW YORK? Comment below let me know.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! STAR WARS EPISODE 7 CAST REVELED

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!! THIS IS SO COOL!!! The  cast of Star Wars Episode 7 has been reveled. This will be my most anticipated film of 2015 without a doubt.  Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker will be reprising their roles, but the new additions are... wait for it... John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Issac,  Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, and Max Von Sydow. . I don't know John Boyega, and Daisy Ridleys filmography well, but I love the other  actors in the cast. It is a truly amazing group.  Its being directed By JJ Abrams, and written  Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote what is widely thought of as the best Star Wars film, "THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK."Abrams is responsible for the incredible Star Trek reboots, and possibly the best show ever, "LOST."     Im so going to the Midnight showing. How about you guys? How excited are you for episode 7? Comment below and let me know.

GAME OF THRONES SEASON 4 REVIEW

Well its that time of the year again where we can say "winter is coming". Quick story( We follow certain families trying to take a throne.) ( Starks, Lanisters, Mother of Dragons... ETC..)

So at the beginning of the first episode we see after the events of season 3 that everyone knows about what happened to Rob Stark and Kat. And while it deeply affects Sansa and Arya, ( and a little bit Tyrion as he actually feels pretty bad for Sansa,) everyone else is moving along like its not big deal. They are preparing for Joffery's wedding to Margery and don't think anything could touch them. In the mean time some of the best scenes are between Arya and the Hound who has one of the best lines of the night when he balks at stealing Arya a horse.
Arya: So your okay with killing little boys but stealing is beneath you?
Hound: A man's gotta have a code.
They are seriously one of the best duos in the show. Their scenes are well written, and really are rich with development for their characters.

Meantime the mother of Dragons is figuring out that you can't tame a dragon..eventually...they might light you on fire.
Episode two is all about the wedding of Joffery and Margery. Most intense episode so far...(I know their have only been two..) but some of Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) and Jack Gleeson's (Joffery) best work. Lets just say... Ned Stark gets redeemed...but by who? We also get an insite to Tyrion who has grown to care for Sansa, and the only Lannister that see's the destruction of the Stark house is a bad thing.
Jamie Lannister also gets to come to some realizations about his newly minted gold hand...like it doesn't work, and he's going to have to practice if he's going to be able to defend anyone.
Another good moment comes when Cersei confront Briene about her relationship with Jamie. Which we know is innocent, but its clear, Cersei is jealous of the closeness they share. When Briene admits Jamie saved her a few times, you can see how ticked off Cersei is.

All in all, each episode was pretty terrific, and glad to have it back to watch.
Grade A for both.

TV VS MOVIES, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE ?

I watch both movies and TV shows, and I greatly enjoy them both.  However, have you ever wondered what the differences are?

Screenplays- TV can go out to 20-30 episodes. A movie can go to three hours or less. With that, being said individual TV scripts are going to be shorter than movie scripts. TV show scripts are primarily character driven, while movie scripts are primarily story driven. A TV show films for five months, and  takes five months to edit and be done.  A normal TV show is about 30 episodes lasting for 30-45 minutes an episode. We get 30 stories in a TV show. It be hard for you to tell me the story of a TV show, but you can tell me about the characters. Where a movie you have one shot to tell one story.

Directors- In movies you have one director, however in TV shows you can have up to 14 different directors. Each tells the story differently. Again however for a show its about the characters. TV show directors tend to film closer because the screen is smaller that you watch their show on.  Where a Movie Director can have longer shots because the screen is bigger.

This is just a start to help you while watching TV shows and movies. My next review will be the Game of Thrones season 4 review, one of my favorite TV shows.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Captain America!!!!

The captain is back! This time he faces a new enemy. He gets help in the form of Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson AKA "The Falcon"This time he fights the WINTER SOLIDER who seems to have every bad-ass move the Captain has, and more. He is a formidable Foe.  I really liked the first Captain America but this one was even better. Terrific action scenes, coupled with Robert Redford as a shady SHIELD exec who isn't all that he seems.  Of course, all of this gets tied together by Chris Evans as Captain America, a man who has watched all his friends and loved ones get old and die and wonders where he fits into this new world. It would be easy to say that in this MARVEL universe, that sequels haven't always lived up the their previous outings, but this one is different. It is definitely in my top three Marvel movies.

After the battle of New York, Captain America  discovers that SHIELD isn't telling him everything. He comes to the realization that Black Widow ( played by the stunning Scarlett Johansson,  and the Falcon( Played by Anthony Mackie)  are the only ones he can trust. And throughout out the film, you see how difficult this journey has been for him: waking up years after WW2, not knowing how to adapt. It was so good, I even teared up a little in the end. We get a'lot of badass Bourne like scenes. Nick Fury( played by Samuel L Jackson) gets more development in the movie.

The Verdict:
Captain america: The Winter Soldier is a fantastic superhero movie. I give Captain America: The Winter Soldier an A

Questions with Craig Brewer also known as Best Day EVER

Today I was lucky enough to go to the VIP paramount tour. It's buck let me tell ya, but worth everything you spend. The tour includes a stop at the Theater, where the hold screenings, the sign, props and costumes room, the archives, where they have every film they have ever made archived, and the sound stages, where I saw set ups for Glee episodes, and Dr. Phil's show. By the way, Shannon the tour guide was awesome. She knew every thing. All along the tour was history. Like the street scenes from THE GODFATHER, and the area where Lucille Ball made her tv show. Did you know she was the first female head of a studio? She green lighted Star Trek AND Mission Impossible. Anyway after, I got to meet one of my directing Idols, Craig Brewer. He and my mom went to a drama program at A.C.T. in San Francisco. Anyways, I spent about an hour with him talking about films and directors and it was so cool!!!!!! I heard stories, and he told me about some cool things he's worked and is working on. Then he was gracious enough to answer some of my questions. Cause I was trying to listen and take notes...I have to paraphrase a little.

ME: What were your top three favorite films of 2013?

CRAIG: Personally my favorite film of the year was NEBRASKA. I'm a huge Space nut, so I loved GRAVITY, and I really liked AMERICAN HUSTLE.

ME: Who are your directing mentors?

CRAIG: My very first mentor was Harvey Berman, who was at Diablo Valley College, and my second was John Singleton, (BOYS IN THE HOOD) He really believed in me and helped me get, HUSTLE AND FLOW made. He also produced BLACK SNAKE MOAN.

ME: HUSTLE AND FLOW is about a man who lives a bad life, and then discovers what his talent should be. At what age did you figure out you wanted to be a director and writer?

(This is where my mom interjected a question.)
Mom: How long did you act after we got out of A.C.T.?

Craig: I only did one more thing after...So I guess I was about 25. Ya.

ME: You are working on a Tarzan Script... Did you get your ideas from the movies from the forties?

CRAIG: No I read the Burroughs books, and a book called, "The Ghost of Leopold," Which is about the Congo. That helped.

ME: Martin Scorsese likes to use DeNiro and DiCaprio... Tarantino likes Sam Jackson, Who is that actor you say to yourself, "God I wish I could use him in all my films, even if its just a supporting role."

CRAIG: If I had to say, I would say Justin Timberlake. He's really good.

We talked further...about what we liked in films, and the differences of FILMS verses MOVIES. He was funny, and direct. Gave me great advice about films and schools and what a good director is.

I hope I get to work with him one day.
